Let us not find faults

Let us lend a helping hand

Let us keep our neighborhood clean

Pick up the litter from the streets and throw it out of sight,

Remove brick size stones dangerously lying in the middle of the road,

Keep dust bins in our cars to collect small bits of garbage

Never to throw garbage into drains meant for rain water

Keep a vigilant eye on petty thieves of public property

Let us be more disciplined in traffic matters,

Leave room to be overtaken by faster vehicles,

Give the right of way to vehicles coming from our right,

Respect pedestrians' right to use the road.

Be courteous to each other, and extra courteous to visitors

Offer help and assistance to visitors needing help and assistance.

Offer protection to visitors from harassment by touts.

Chase away the beggars.

Beg with folded hands the drivers of three-wheelers not to cheat visitors.

Also beg the policemen and other sarkari officers to be merciful

For a couple of weeks.

During the Games, let all of us wear the badges and armbands, DELHIITES,

And proudly showcase our citizenship, decency and hospitality
